Initially I started this site to do movie review type stuff and ways to get out my ideas about everything I was watching, including a lot of kids media (owing to…the obvious). More recently I’ve been looking at I’m interested in alternatives to education – at the macro level, like alternatives to k-12 or university, and the micro-level, like alternatives to face-to-face lecture (like Hotseat, a project I work on). I’m interested in what isn’t working and what attempts are being made to fix them or come up with new ways to fix broken systems.
I won’t say no to other blog topics, including movies, music, religion, and politics. It’s an eclectro-blog.
I also blog for my employer, Purdue University, on technology in education matters.
